Research-use policy & terms

Cape Fear Research sells research-grade materials for laboratory work. This page is the policy that governs the catalog, orders, and site. Have counsel review it before you treat it as binding.

1. Research-use policy

By entering this site or placing an order you confirm that you are 21 or older and that you are purchasing solely for lawful in-vitro, analytical, or other laboratory research. You agree that you will not use, or represent that others may use, any product as a drug, food, cosmetic, supplement, or veterinary product.

What we sell

Lyophilized peptides and related research accessories (for example bacteriostatic water) offered as chemical reference materials. Listings include name, size, and price. This site does not publish certificates of analysis.

What we do not do

• We do not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition.
• We do not provide dosing, reconstitution-for-injection, or “how to take” instructions.
• We do not sell to minors.
• We do not authorize resale as a consumer wellness product.

Buyer responsibility

You are responsible for handling, storage, and disposal under the rules that apply to your lab or institution. You are responsible for confirming that your intended research use is lawful in your jurisdiction.

2. Terms of sale

Orders are offers to purchase research materials. We may accept, refuse, or cancel an order if we believe the buyer is not a qualified research purchaser, the shipping address is incomplete, payment cannot be confirmed, or the order appears intended for human or veterinary use.

Product names, sizes, and prices are as listed on the store at the time you order. Prices are in US dollars and may change without notice for future orders.

Title and risk of loss pass when the carrier accepts the package. We do not guarantee a research outcome. Materials are sold as-is except where a listing expressly states a documented specification.

Returns

Opened vials are not returnable. Unopened items may be discussed case by case if they arrived damaged or if we shipped the wrong item. Contact us before returning anything.

3. Orders & payment

Checkout on this site collects shipping and contact details only. After you submit an order we contact you at the email you provide with available payment options. Current options used by the existing shop include Cash App and Apple Pay. Materials ship after payment is confirmed.

You agree that the name and address you submit are accurate and that the shipment is for a research destination. Do not list payment account numbers on this page.

4. Shipping

Shipments originate from coastal North Carolina. Standard shipping is $5. Research orders of $200 or more ship free inside the contiguous United States. Delivery times depend on the carrier. We do not control customs delays if you request shipment outside the US — confirm that import of research peptides is allowed before you order.

5. Privacy

We collect the name, email, phone (if given), and mailing address you enter at checkout so we can confirm payment and ship. We use that information to fulfill the order and to contact you about that order. We do not sell your contact list. Do not send payment credentials through the order form.

The store uses an age gate. That choice is stored only in your browser session unless you later add your own analytics.
